CPA Project: Things are Moving Along, More or Less

529 College Saving Account

I received confirmation that my 529 is funded today. Looking at a savings account (any kind really), and seeing money in it never ceases to give me a great thrill.

Application to CCD

By my count, it’s been 5 business days since I submitted my application. I keep hoping to open my inbox and see an email from them saying that I’ve been accepted. I can’t actually remember if they said they were going to email me or send me a letter, so maybe I’ll know when I get home this evening and check my mail.

Determining the financial commitment of attending CU-Denver vs. DU

I have all of the pertinent tuition and fee information, and now, finally, I have the dual degree program description from CU-Denver, so I can actually put together some real numbers and see what I’m looking at.

I’m still leaning toward CU-Denver over DU, but I’m not quite ready to rule anything out.

Taking the GMAT

I still need to sit down and take the GMAT practice test so I know where to focus my studies.

Right now there’s so much I’ve signed myself up to do for Thanksgiving and Christmas, my evenings are pretty well spoken for. I think I’ll have to wait at least until I’ve completed the three Christmas presents I’m making myself, and then I’ll be able to focus on the GMAT.

Hopefully that will happen before New Years. I’m not going to hold my breath though.
