Tax season is now behind us, and it went as well as could be expected. I spent the next week catching up on all the things I hadn’t been able to do during tax season (not least of which was sleep), and now I’m in the thick of studying for the AUD section of the CPA exam.

Along those lines, I found this great article from the Journal of Accountancy about the NPV (net present value) of every hour of study for the CPA exam.
So, because my company is considered small by their estimation, for every hour I spend studying for the CPA exam, I am “earning” around $360. That’s pretty awesome. Well worth a little short-term sacrifice.
