If You’re Going to take Tax at CU Denver…

by Megan Taylor on August 2, 2013

… Take it with Sarah Knight. (The school lists her by her married name, Harding, but the rest of the world uses her maiden name.)

She’s a practicing CPA, so the class is only offered in the Fall, but so far it’s right up there with one of my favorite classes I’ve taken at CU Denver, and we’re only two weeks in.

The class is ACCT 6140 (it’s called “Tax Planning for Managers”) at the graduate level, but it’s cross-listed with ACCT 4410 (“Income Tax Accounting”) at the undergrad level.

My other favorite classes:

BUSN 6540 – Legal & Ethical Environment of Business (aka, Business Law) with Diane Dalmy (also only offered in the Fall)
ACCT 6070 – Cost Account (aka Managerial Accounting) with Robert Hockenbury
ACCT 6024 – Advanced Financial Accounting (aka Miscellaneous Accounting) with Robert Hockenbury
