I’m going to grad school!

I opened up my inbox yesterday to find the following message:

Congratulations! You have been accepted into the Master of Science in Accounting at the Business School, University of Colorado Denver, Graduate Programs, for the Fall 2012 semester.

You will receive a hard copy of your acceptance letter in the mail soon. In addition…

I GOT IN!!

I don’t how likely it was (or wasn’t) that my application would be rejected, but I am so very excited that I got in.

I really wish my official “you’re a student now” email/letter would show up so I could set up my email address and take a look at the Fall 2012 class schedule. I want to know what class I’m going to be taking! My boss chuckled at my enthusiasm, but I forgot how much I love the run-up to the start of the school year.

The “official” information email/letter will be coming some time in the next 48 hours to 4 weeks. What a huge window. *sighs* Patience, not always my strong suit.

When I know more, I’ll post it. For now I’m going to do a happy jig because I’m going to grad school! I’m gonna be an accountant!
